Founded in 1963, the Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree program.

The campus grounds cover 23 acres, housing a woodshop studio, ceramics studio, photography lab, professional sound studio, 283-seat auditorium, 35-seat audiovisual theater, large meeting rooms, and a Library/Resource Center.

The Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (HLC) and nationally accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). RMCAD’s Interior Design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation and the Art Education Program leading to the BFA is accredited by the Colorado Department of Higher Education and the Colorado Department of Education.
