Founded in 1993 as a non-proft community based school, Heartwood College of Art offers an integrated curriculum of liberal education, art foundation, and art studio courses. The Heartwood campus is located in the small community of Kennebunk, Maine, which is conveniently situated between the cities of Boston and Portland. The small class size, accessibility and quiet location of the school has seen the College become an alternative to large college campuses. Heartwood is licensed by the State of Maine to grant Associate and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.
