Maine Media College shares a campus with Maine Media Workshops in the small town of Rockport, offering professional certificate programs and low-residency MFA degrees in photography, filmmaking, and multimedia.
In 2007, the Maine Photographic Workshops, the International Film and Video Workshops, and the College transitioned to nonprofit status under a new governance structure. The name Maine Media Workshops was introduced to unify the workshop programs under a single name that better describes the structure of the school (www.mainemedia.edu). The Workshops offers a variety of short-term workshops and master classes in photography, filmmaking, multimedia, animation, design and book arts, as well as destination travel courses.
