Aquila Glass is a full-time working studio that supplies its products to galleries and gift stores nationwide. After popular demand for classes, the studio decided to open its doors and launch the Aquila Glass School.
Available at Aquila Art Glass are 6 kilns, 21 shapes of slumping molds in 43 sizes, the complete range (445 colors) of Bullseye sheet glass, frits, confetti's and rods to choose from. The studio is a 1,950 square feet facility with torch area including 8 student bobcat torches and 1 teacher bobcat torch.
People are encouraged to drop in to have a look around if they are interested in seeing the studio in action or joining a class. There is 68 hours of studio time so after a class you are welcome to use the tools and facility for free. Students only need to pay for a beginning class, torch time, glass and kiln time. One on one mentoring is available upon request.
