Amarillo College
The Associate in Science degree in Art (AS) prepares students majoring in art, art education or graphic design to transfer to an university for a baccalaureate degree. The Amarillo Art Centre was opened in 1972 and is located at its main Washington Street campus featuring an art museum and concert hall.

Angelo State University
Located in San Angelo in west central Texas, the Angelo State University encompasses five colleges including the College of Liberal and Fine Arts which delivers programs in art, music and theatre.

Baylor University
Baylor University in Waco, Texas, is a private Baptist university, and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution. Founded in 1845, it is the largest Baptist university in the world by enrollment. Through their College of Arts and Sciences, Baylor Univeristy runs programs in studio arts, art history, architecture, theatre arts and fabric design.

University of North Texas
The University of North Texas includes the College of Visual Arts and Design which runs programs in visual arts, art history, art education and design studies. The school's program in Art Education is among the top-rated programs in the United States (www.unt.edu).
