Art Programs at Burlington College
Fine Arts
The Fine Arts major is designed to provide broad foundations in the arts as well as the opportunity to focus in one area such as painting, drawing, mixed-media, or photography.
Photography
The photography major combines rigorous instruction in craft and technique coupled with a personalized approach to taking pictures that recognizes the complex social, temporal, and spiritual relationships between the photographer and the subject. Because the technology of photography is changing so rapidly, the program offers courses that give students the tools to work in both digital and film and that often explore the ways those two formats can be combined.
Expressive Arts
The Expressive Arts major at Burlington College is specifically designed to prepare students to enter graduate programs in art therapy or expressive arts therapies and eventually become certified therapists.
