The Bath School of Art & Design is a college of the Bath Spa University and is located at Sion Hill, to the north of Bath City centre. The Bath School of Art & Design offers degree programs in digital design, graphic design, publishing, fine art, graphic communication, fashion and textile design.

Founded in 1852, the Bath School of Art & Design resulted from Government debate on the national shortage of training opportunities in design to support manufacture, and concerns about the strength of international design & manufacture at the time of the 1851 Great Exhibition (www.artbathspa.com/history) 'Following national competition, the school has been designated a Centre of Excellence in teaching and learning by the universities funding council.
